Moving has to be one of my worst favorite things to do. But what I do love is having a new space to create in, like a blank canvas that I can decorate however I like. I love designing how my room should look and picking out new artwork and accessories to make my vision happen, perhaps I was meant to be an interior decorator? Here's some pics:
I -love- this Audrey Hepburn canvas print. Little known fact: I'm absolutely obsessed with Audrey Hepburn, I have all her movies and I've watched Breakfast at Tiffanys a bajillion times! Since I don't have a headboard the 'picture above the bed' adds a nice touch filling in that empty space. Also note the chandelier in the corner: $12 (Target). Super cute, you add small rhinestones to it and it sticks on your wall but you can remove it easily, perfect for an apartment/dorm where you're not allowed to paint or do anything to the walls. This is my desk/vanity/filming area and my closet. Above my desk I put a cork board, this is a great DIY budget-friendly way to decorate.. use it as your own mood board and add things that inspire you like cut-outs from magazines.
Do you have any good budget-friendly decorating tips?
