Lets be honest, there's NOTHING chic or cute about being sick. My cheeks are red beyond what would be considered a cute flush, and my nose is RAW and STUFFY. As I quipped yesterday, I'm practically HIBERNATING like a hamster in amongst a mountain of puffs plus (the lotion kind). I'm kind of a snob when it comes to tissues (and practically everything for that matter) and wouldn't dare settle for toilet paper, YUCK! read on..

My gross, snotty sick-face
Neti potting is one of those weird but fascinating things that is way up there with ear candling and Biore pore strips - it seems totally disgusting at first but you can't help but be curiously compelled to try it out. Read on..

In 2011 I finally got a blender for making yummy smoothies, and I've been coming up with crazy tasty concoctions ever since!
Something about drinking smoothies just feels so healthy, like you can feel your body getting healthier while you drink it. Your skin gets the nutrients it needs to glow and look healthy. It's pretty win win if you ask me.
I kind of fancy myself a bit of a smoothie making pro. In fact, one of my first jobs as a teenager was at a juice joint making yummy smoothies and juicy drinks. Funny story: on my first day at the smoothie place I was making a drink that included fresh squeezed oranges and bananas. I actually put the banana through the juicer and it totally malfunctioned and we had a huge lineup. Turns out you can't juice a banana.. whoops! I don't recommend trying that one. read on..

Happy 2012 lovelies! *cue Auld Lang Syne and pink champs*
I probably try 100's of new products every year. Some aren't so great and get passed to someone who might enjoy it more, or tossed into my never ending abyss of beauty products.
Others, though, are amazing and end up becoming a part of my regular routine and I can't even imagine how I ever lived without them in my life.
SO without further ado, here are my top favorite game-changers for 2011: continue..
